Course Description
Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) is concerned with managing the movement and consolidation of data within, and between, applications and organizations. Therefore, it is about “data in motion.” There are a number of different ETL techniques, but at its core it’s about the movement and changes data takes along the various systems within an organization.
The “What is…?” series of data fundamentals courses, along with associated packaged Learning Plans, are meant to help data and non-data professionals build a common language and understanding between them on significant data-related topics such as Data Management, Data Governance, Data Stewardship, Data Modeling, Data Architecture, and many others.
These courses provide a means to develop a level of cooperative understanding between business users, executives, teams, and technical professionals across your organization, so that everyone can be on the same page as you move forward with your data programs and initiatives.
