Tutorial Description
More and more enterprises are adopting Knowledge Graphs. Some of this interest has come from the incredible success firms like Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Amazon have had with their graph efforts. Part of it comes from early adopters in Enterprises who have found capabilities in Graph Databases that are very difficult to replicate in traditional systems, such as graph analytics. Other interest comes from firms using the graph as an integration hub.
This tutorial will start with what are Graph Databases, and how they relate to Knowledge Graphs. We will show how relational, big data, and even unstructured data can be mapped to Graph. We will explore and demonstrate the two main types of Graph Databases: Labeled Property Graphs and RDF Triple Stores and discuss the pros and cons of each.
