Tutorial Description

Worthwhile Data Governance and Data Quality frameworks include the core components of successful programs as viewed by the different levels of the organization. In a successful and usable framework, each of the components is addressed at each of the levels, providing insight into key ideas and terminology used to attract participation across the organization. A framework plays a key role in setting up and sustaining effective Data Governance and Data Quality programs.

In this tutorial, Bob Seiner will share two frameworks. The first is a multifaceted cross-reference of components and levels, while the second can be used to compare different approaches to implementing Data Governance and Data Quality programs. When this workshop is complete, you will walk out of the session with customized frameworks that your organization can use to improve the likelihood of governance and quality program success.

In this tutorial, Bob will discuss and share:

  • How to customize a framework that matches your organization’s requirements
  • Selecting the appropriate core components and levels of your framework
  • How to complete the Data Governance and Data Quality framework
  • How to use the framework to enable your program's success

Measuring value through the customized framework
