This course considers the many elements of building such a strategy and how it affects architectural decisions. It also discusses the importance of aligning Metadata Management with business priorities, internal vs. external drivers, and working with and selling metadata to stakeholders. It provides many different examples of tools to use for building a metadata strategy, how to do a maturity assessment, build a roadmap, and do inventory and usage mapping.
