Marketing is not a core competency of many IT professionals. Typically, when we are assigned to an application and receive a project request to initially create or install an application, we go into support mode with some subsequent project requests to enhance or update that application.
There are many facets to master data and MDM that make it different from the typical application. MDM is a program that will grow over time as master data is sourced in and master data is subscribed out. Ultimately, the MDM marketplace can benefit dozens of applications and business areas if they can be persuaded to adopt it.
This course provides methods to develop a marketing message, deliver the message, and then close the deal, whether you’re trying to sell the initial business case to launch an MDM program or trying to persuade prospective subscribers and suppliers to buy into your MDM vision and adopt it to benefit their application or business process.
