Speaker: Shailesh Pendkar

Shailesh Pendkar is the Head of Data Analytics Architecture at Roche, the world's largest pharmaceutical and diagnostic company. He has over 21 years of experience in data engineering, architecture, and analytics, including management experience in building and leading data platforms and business intelligence applications through business and cross-functional partnerships. Shailesh has extensive experience leading and building end-to-end SaaS-based healthcare analytics platforms that surface actionable insights and empower labs to improve patient care, operational effectiveness, and financial performance across the healthcare continuum.

Currently, Shailesh leads a large technology and project program connecting worldwide lab instruments to the cloud and building a Data HUB that is the central median point between lab instruments IoT, and data consumers applications, processes, and people. He oversees approximately 70 internal and external associates to define and implement data and analytics platform capabilities for Roche, overseeing the spending of approximately 100M annually.
