The Data Management and Governance Journey - A Case Study

I've been leading the Data Management and Governance journey of E.ON for five years now, and we have gone through a lot of challenges and phases along the way. I'll share with the audience different obstacles that might occur and ideas on how to solve them all in line with the maturity model that we are currently using at E.ON. 

Beyond just sharing our journey, this presentation will also be about sharing experiences and possible solutions to common challenges others might face on their own road to Data Management and Governance.

Romina Medici, M.Sc. (F) is currently Head of Data Management & Governance at E.ON, leading a global team of experts to support E.ON in increasing its maturity in the field. This includes the rollout of a metadata management platform, providing end-to-end data quality and master data management services, support in data model development and management, building up a federated data governance organization, and enabling business transformations through change management and knowledge management. In addition, Romina leads the capability office through maturity management, streamlining data acquisitions, providing data services, and last but not least, collecting and orchestrating consense from our customers.
