Ilker Tufan got his B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey, and his M.S. degree in Computer Science from RMIT University in Australia. He has 10+ years of experience in data management. The areas that he has focused on are DB administration, ETL tool administration, data governance, metadata management, data modeling, data dictionary, data lineage, data quality, GDPR data discovery, data security, DMBoK (DAMA Book of Knowledge) & DataOps. He worked as Senior Oracle DBA, Manager/Tech Lead of Metadata Technologies Team at Garanti BBVA Technology. After banking he moved to the gaming industry and joined King in 2022. He is currently working as an Associate Director, Data Architect at King. His focus areas are data governance, event modeling/governance, metadata management, and event standardization. He is also CDMP certified and Oracle Certified Associate.
