EDW 24: Empower Hour - Negotiating Successfully as a Woman

**This is Subscription-Only Content, It is NOT purchasable as a separate product**

Too many women struggle because they don't know what is possible or how to ask for it successfully. Kathryn's Empower Hour will inspire your audience to take their careers to the next level by teaching participants how to identify their needs, craft their ask and have a successful conversation, achieving better outcomes and better relationships.

Based on more than a decade of research and hundreds of workplace conversations, Kathryn has created a proven approach to negotiating successfully as a woman. She will outline the benefits of asking for what you need and the barriers that can hold women back. She will share her research-based solution that empowers women to successfully advocate in the workplace.

This keynote is suited for all women – from those one year into the workforce up to CEOs.

Participants will learn:

  • Negotiating isn’t just about salary: the 75 things for which you can ask
  • The benefits of negotiating, including those that aren't commonly known
  • Identifying roadblocks that prevent (even very successful) women from negotiating
  • A research-based approach that ANY woman can use to become a great negotiator, improving both outcomes and relationships

ABOUT TODAY'S PROGRAM:

We at DATAVERSITY have noticed a dramatic increase in women becoming data practitioners over the years. To better understand how we can better support this growing demographic, we held a special interest group at Enterprise Data World Fall in Anaheim, California. From that discussion, we have started building education, networking, and training opportunities, and are excited to be producing our first Women in Data Management and Governance event!

This event is included in your Enterprise Data World registration, and all are welcome.
