Cathy Normand is the Data Product Manager for the Upstream Data Office at ExxonMobil focused on modernizing data pipelines. As the Upstream Data Governance Principal, in addition to managing data squads, she weaves her knowledge and experience of data governance into each data product. Her focus is to accelerate the delivery of high-value data products with increased proficiency and improved return on investment across the central business capabilities and at operational sites. With more than 23 years of service at ExxonMobil, her assignments have included product ownership in geospatial technologies and subsurface data integration, implementing the corporate data catalog, leading a data engineering service offering, and the creation of an ideation platform within ExxonMobil.
Outside of work, she volunteers her time with United Way and Klein Independent School District, and enjoys multi-day hikes and trail running.
