
In this presentation, we will share our journey as a healthcare learning platform to overhaul our data strategy. This was done to enable turning our unique product offerings into a platform solution. To achieve this, we adopted a new tech data stack to manage our data which includes a data warehouse, ETL, data catalog, and data visualization tools.
The Knowledge Management team took ownership of the data catalog. While we thought we were just cataloging data as librarians do, it turned out this came with the responsibility of establishing data governance for the company. We will share how we leveraged the data catalog to do this, including marketing the data catalog, ensuring successful adoption, and getting everyone on board.
