Knowing what one’s life’s work is about is an amazing feeling that, sadly, too few people experience. But knowing the why and what, but not the where or how, can feel worse than not knowing one’s purpose at all.
Anthony Algmin has lived the blessing and the curse. In his 23-year career, he’s had more jobs than you would think reasonable. Industry jobs, consulting jobs, tech jobs, and sales jobs. He’s been a Chief Data Officer, and worked for organizations as large as 50,000, and as small as two.
And not one of them felt right…until now.
In April 2023, Anthony left a leadership position in Big Pharma to become a sports betting YouTuber and software entrepreneur. Nine months later, 8rain Station launched as the most advanced data-driven sports betting analytics software available.
His decisions have raised some eyebrows, but the lessons he will share in this entertaining keynote should be heard by everyone with data at the core of their life’s work.
