**This is Subscription-Only Content, It is NOT purchasable as a separate product**

Data governance has become a strategic imperative for many organizations as the 21st-century business landscape has made it almost impossible to compete without leveraging data and analytics. Yet, while organizations know that they need to implement data governance, they struggle with knowing how to get it done. This is because implementing data governance requires organizations to adapt to new ways of thinking about people, processes, and technology. Data governance leaders must enable their organizations to adapt.

This session focuses on the leadership mindsets and behaviors that a newly appointed Senior Data Governance and Analytics Director has found effective in implementing data governance within an entrepreneurial retail organization. With a background in change management and research on the leadership behaviors and mindsets that enable organizational adaptability, Dr. Carol Henry shares the strategies she is leveraging to shift her organization toward managing data as an asset.

The session will focus on:

  • The influencing behaviors that bring your implementation to life
  • The benefits of a growth mindset and collaborative decision-making
  • The importance of alignment with business priorities
