
In the rapidly evolving landscape of data-driven decision-making, organizations are recognizing the paramount importance of crafting a robust data strategy. The 2-Day live, online Data Strategy Bootcamp workshop with instructor John Ladley is an intensive and immersive course designed to empower participants with the knowledge, skills, and frameworks necessary to formulate and execute effective data strategies that drive business success.
Day One provides an overview of the main components for building a data strategy and associated data disciplines. A key focus will be on aligning the data strategy with the organization’s business strategy to support becoming a more data-driven organization. An overview of the key components of data management will be covered including: metadata management, data architecture and data modeling, data quality, BI and data warehousing, analytics, master data management, and data integration. Hands-on workshop exercises and group discussions will be provided to give students the opportunity to apply the techniques they’ve learned.
Day Two looks at data governance, operating models, roles and responsibilities, operations, tools & technologies, and much more. The focus is on sustaining the program and expanding it within the organization. Within that framework there are multiple workshop exercises, group discussions, and a deep dive into the fundamentals of change management necessary to make the changes last, along with how to gain quick wins, build a successful roadmap, and showing successful metrics.
Following this course, students will be able to use what they’ve learned to build a roadmap and implementation plan for their organization.
