Structured Query Language (SQL) originated as a way for users and developers to work with data with the construct of Relational Data Modeling and Relational Database Management Systems. SQL is as necessary and relevant today as it has been in years past.

SQL literacy is a core competency to work effectively in the automated business world for data-centric decision-making. Exercising the fundamentals of Data Markup, Definition, and Control Language will empower people to work with local and enterprise data sets and understand the business environment. Performing data discovery and exploration will lead to reporting and analysis that can answer a business hypothesis or question to make decisions based on data.
