Data describing the present can never be perfect, and Kurt Godel proved it. His theorizing about the limits of rules-based thinking unlocked a new world of innovation because he showed us that no rules-based system will ever perfectly describe the universe. Data needs rules to exist. Because rules can't describe the universe in its present form perfectly, data about the world today can fundamentally never be perfect. Recognizing this helps us better access the true value of data; if data can't be perfect, how can we get where we want to go anyway?
Data consumers will learn how to best think about data, its limitations, and its application to their problems.
Data professionals will learn how to help the people they support break from a fixation on perfection and focus on finding solutions.
