DGIQ-W24: Counseling Change: Applying Mental Health Techniques to Everyday Data Governance

**This is Subscription-Only Content, It is NOT purchasable as a separate product**

Data governance is 20% data work and 80% people work. Successful implementation hinges on the human element—how individuals adapt to and embrace change. By creating an environment where others feel truly listened to and understood, people are much more likely to change.

With the guidance of a licensed professional mental health counselor, we will explore the intersection of counseling techniques and data governance by shedding light on strategies to help reduce resistance, foster empowerment, and nurture a positive mindset – for those we partner with and for ourselves!

Through practical examples, we’ll provide a deeper understanding of the emotional and psychological factors that influence the success of data governance programs.
