Anthony J. Algmin is a data leadership advocate who has led strategic transformations in many industries as a management consultant, data architect, program lead, Chief Data Officer, and entrepreneur. He has performed hundreds of public speaking appearances and is a prolific writer, podcast host, trainer, and advisor to organizations of all sizes. Anthony is known for his passionate, energetic style and letting nothing get in the way of delivering the power of data to those who need it.

Anthony earned a bachelor’s degree from Illinois Wesleyan University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. His personal interests include data-friendly activities like electric vehicles, gaming, auto racing, and various other sports. Anthony lives with his wife and three children in suburban Chicago. He would like to get a dog someday.

Speaker: Christine Haskell

Christine Haskell is a principal consultant and adjunct professor with over 15 years in business intelligence strategy, governance, and literacy. She is passionate about creating strong data cultures and creating the change necessary to make data and analytics impactful for leaders and organizations. Christine believes that data is a language everyone must learn to become effective in their lives and work. She has led new product development in startups (Yahoo!, RealNetworks) and led cross-functional teams to develop global data management initiatives (Microsoft, Starbucks, Salesforce).

Christine has also consulted, helping leaders manage individual and organizational change across various sectors, and written two self-directed learning books on leadership development. She has a Master of Applied Behavior and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Leadership and Sustainable Systems (formerly IO Psychology).

Speaker: Scott Peachey

Scott Peachey has been around aspects of data, compliance and oversight for 16 years. He has been engaged in several roles that include data analysis, data manipulation, security and reporting. Additionally, Scott has been dedicated to continuous improvement throughout his career. He recently joined Invesco as Global Head of Data Governance, having previously been part of the DGPO Award-winning Enterprise Data Governance Team at Nationwide. In that capacity he had oversight of many business unit data governance teams, and was accountable for stewardship support, process development/improvement, training, consulting and video development.

Speaker: Lisa Henry Horne
Sr Mgr, IT Master Data
Newell Brands

Lisa Henry Horne, Sr IT Manager – Global Master Data, at Newell Brands since April 2008, focuses on delivering quality customer and vendor master data to support the company's operations and analytics. Her responsibilities include master data maintenance, SAP implementations, and master data governance, which encompasses aligning on business rules, definitions, and approval processes, as well as resolving data quality issues. Her educational background includes a BA in Economics from Loyola University in New Orleans and postgraduate accounting courses from Georgia State University in Atlanta. Prior to joining Newell, Lisa spent 21 years at Georgia-Pacific in various management roles in Enterprise Business Intelligence, Corporate Information Systems, Shared Accounting, and Internal Audit. She is an active member of DAMA Georgia. She is married to Bob and has one daughter, Meyer.

Speaker: Gwen Thomas
Data Strategist
The Data Governance Institute

As the primary author of the DGI framework and guidance materials published at DataGovernance.com, Gwen has influenced hundreds of data programs around the globe. She spent 20 years working in IT shops and providing data management and data governance consulting servicers, before spending 10 years as an in-house data strategist for the World Bank Group's private sector arm. Much of her time there focused on translating between executives, program leaders, data governance teams, lawyers, architects, modelers, policy writers, auditors, and data quality teams. While she is a technician, her special focus is on helping non-technical teams become stronger advocates for their own needs.
