Building a Future Leaders in Data Program

At SAIC, we have established a Future Leaders in Data Framework to build our Data Teams. We have many techniques to engage our early career employees. Hackathons, Block Plans, Day in the Life Scenarios, and mentorship are just a few of the activities we have established. Speaker: Sara Jones

Sara has been employed as a technology professional for over 22 years, entering the industry as a Quality Assurance Engineer. From Quality Assurance, Sara transitioned into data management roles. Most recently, Sara has launched a Data Governance program within SAIC. Currently, Sara is developing strategies to provide data as a product. Sara has created frameworks to productize technical data concepts into sought-after data products. Sara’s passion is to help business functions achieve value through data. Sara has an MBA in Information Systems from San Diego State University and is currently working towards a Ph.D. in Information Quality at the University of Arkansas Little Rock.
