Chantal Marcoux

For more than 20 years, Chantal Marcoux has led passionate and innovative teams in the domain of knowledge, information, and data from a wide range of fields, including economics and finance, science, law, and politics in Canada and the US. Since 2015, she has been the Director of Knowledge and information services at the Bank of Canada, and she built with her team a strong network in the central banks and international financial institutions community and in the Canadian government. Providing leading-edge services, establishing solid collaborations and trust with clients and partners, and sharing knowledge are what drives and motivates her every day.

Iris Zhang


For over 10 years, Iris Zhang has worked in various areas related to data and analytics in both private and public organizations, including the Toronto Stock Exchange, Statistics Canada, and the Bank of Canada. She is currently the Program Manager, Information, Data, and Analytics Services at the Bank of Canada. Prior to her current role, she led the development of a Cyber Data Strategy exploring AI/ML analytics in Cyber Security, managed a Corporate Security program, and led an operation for publishing financial sector statistics. Iris developed knowledge and experience in various areas of data and analytics, including data strategy, organizational change management, data management, as well as statistical operations. Iris holds a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Ottawa.
