Additional Info:
Hundreds of billions of Dollars of lost opportunities are wasted across the globe because data isn't utilized efficiently. Most data-driven organizations recognize that their data is underexploited and that data catalogs can provide the means to capitalize on their data assets. However, technology is only half the picture, and many cataloging projects fall flat before they've even got started because of a lack of buy-in from stakeholders across the business. Gamifying metadata onboarding ensures data owners are quickly engaged, data stewards are incentivized from the start, and data catalogs are visible to stakeholders across the business, creating and maintaining momentum and maximizing the return from investments into metadata management.
