Noah Yao is a Principal in SC&H’s Data Strategy & Governance practice, bringing more than a decade of experience leading digital and data initiatives for Fortune 500 companies and leading healthcare organizations. He partners with clients to design and implement enterprise data strategies and governance frameworks that accelerate data-driven transformation across their organizations.
At SC&H, Noah co-leads the firm’s Data Strategy & Governance service, supporting clients with end-to-end strategy, operations, and enablement. His work spans data strategy visioning, data governance frameworks, and data management capabilities, including lifecycle management, quality, and architecture. Noah’s approach emphasizes technology enablement—leveraging automation, AI, and strategic partnerships with top data platform providers to help organizations operationalize their data initiatives effectively.
Passionate about developing high-performing teams, Noah believes that mentorship and coaching are the foundation of long-term success in consulting. He dedicates significant time to nurturing emerging talent and building a culture of continuous learning and growth within his teams. His client philosophy centers on partnership, transparency, and delivering lasting value through innovation.
Noah earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, with dual concentrations in Finance and Strategy & Operations.
Outside of work, Noah is an avid tennis player and community volunteer. He serves on parent committees at his daughter’s school, supports the USTA, and has long been involved with the American Cancer Society.

Lani Chun, PhD, is a Principal in SC&H’s Data Strategy & Governance practice, bringing over a decade of experience helping complex organizations harness the power of their data. She specializes in designing and implementing data strategy, governance, and management frameworks that drive innovation, compliance, and measurable business value.
At SC&H, Lani co-leads the firm’s Data Strategy & Governance service line, where she partners with clients to develop and operationalize end-to-end data programs. Her work includes crafting data governance models, developing data management standards, and leveraging automation and AI to enable scalable, sustainable solutions. Lani’s deep background in pharmaceutical consulting allows her to navigate the intricate regulatory and operational environments of global life sciences companies, tailoring each solution to her clients’ unique challenges.
Lani is deeply passionate about building cohesive, high-performing teams. She believes that the strongest results come from collaboration, shared accountability, and an appreciation of each team member’s strengths—a philosophy inspired by her own experience in team-based disciplines.
Lani holds a PhD in Biology, with a focus on pharmaceutical sciences, from Johns Hopkins University, and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Biochemistry from the University of Washington.
Outside of work, Lani enjoys indoor rock climbing and revisiting her love for Star Trek.
