DGIQ-EDW26: ADGP Certification - What, Why and How

**This is Subscription-Only Content, It is NOT purchasable as a separate product**

This panel introduces the Applied Data Governance Practitioner Certification, a new credential designed specifically to equip data professionals with the practical knowledge, tools, and judgment required to drive governance programs that actually work, and to be able to demonstrate that knowledge in the workplace.

Join many of the certification co-creators as they discuss the “what, why, and how” behind the program. They’ll share the vision that shaped the certification, the industry needs it addresses, and how it equips practitioners with actionable skills they can apply immediately within their organizations.

Whether you are building a governance program, advancing your career, or evaluating certification options, this session offers a behind-the-scenes look at how the credential was developed—and how it can help elevate data governance from concept to execution.
  • What does the certification cover and who is it for?
  • Why is a practitioner-focused credential needed alongside other offerings?
  • How can data professionals best prepare for and apply what they learn?

Whether you are considering the certification for yourself, your team, or your enterprise, this session will help you understand what the credential represents, what it demands, and what it delivers.
