Speaker: Emily Gamlin

Emily Gamlin has over 6 years of experience working in the Financial Services Industry. She has served in various roles ranging from regulatory and operational risk to compliance and data analytics. She has experience working at Big 4 Firms to help clients in end-to-end documentation for various high-risk regulatory reports, as well as Project Manager experience for teams of 25+ resources. Emily also has experience as a large independent broker-dealer in both Technology Compliance and Information Lifecycle Management. Emily was educated at the University of North Carolina Wilmington where she received a B.S. in Business Administration concentrating in Accounting and Finance. She also attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington to receive a Master of Science in Accountancy with a concentration in auditing and systems. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of North Carolina.

Speaker: Michael Ivie

Michael leads the Financial Services Consulting group at Eclipse Consulting, a specialized professional services firm that empowers highly regulated and data-intensive businesses with subject-matter leadership and execution-focused delivery capabilities across risk, data, technology, and regulatory change programs. Michael has over a decade of experience in Finance, Risk, Data Management, and Technology in both public and private sectors. His diverse background working across the enterprise in numerous change management roles for many of the world’s leading financial institutions has helped him develop a unique perspective on how these organizations function and how to navigate a changing business, technical, and regulatory landscape. Michael received an MS in Finance and an MBA in Risk Management & Insurance from Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business. He earned a Professional Risk Manager (PRM) certification from PRMIA, a Project Management Professional (PMP) credential from PMI, and numerous other industry licenses and data/IT certifications.
