Implementing data governance processes is not a singular event, those processes need to change and evolve as the environment changes. There are several factors in the environment now that are making the time right to revisit data governance processes on a larger scale. Those factors are the shifts in the workplace (work from anywhere, near-shoring, office relocations), changes in data privacy regulations, and the impact that AI is having not only on the processes, but on controlling what data it can use. In this session we will discuss some examples from the pharmaceutical industry and how they have adapted their governance processes.
