
As is so often said, the only constant is change. In this closing session, we'll be asking successful data governance and quality practitioners to discuss a range of issues that they are managing today, and where they see changes occurring in future. Some of the specific topics include:
Speaker: Adrianna Steele
Data Enablement Branch Chief, Federal Emergency Management Agency

Ms. Steele is the current Data Enablement Branch Chief at FEMA’s Office of Policy and Program Analysis (OPPA). In this role she is responsible for conducting regular data maturity assessments, leading the creation and implementation of FEMA’s data strategy, and overseeing the development and management of FEMA’s Data Inventory Program, FEMA’s Data Policy and Procedures program, and the facilitation of FEMA’s Data Governance Council. Prior to this role Ms. Steele was the Analytics Branch Chief for FEMA’s Field Operations, where she helped implement standard data analysis for Emergency Response Operations. In addition to working on domestic data management and analytical needs, she has also worked in the international development industry conducting monitoring and evaluation work for general budget assistance. Ms. Steele has a MSc in Development Economics from the University of Sussex in Brighton, England and a BA in Economics from Villanova University.
Speaker: Brianna Vandre
Senior Manager, Data Intelligence, GitLab

Brianna Vandre is the Senior Manager of Data Intelligence at GitLab. She is an accomplished and forward-thinking data leader, governance team founder, and author, with a passion for data management and a proven track record of driving business growth and innovation. With a deep understanding of data-driven strategies and cutting-edge technologies, she has successfully led cross-functional teams to leverage data for decision-making and process optimization.
Brianna's strong background in financial planning and analysis, project management, and system integrations has helped her to successfully lead and implement data governance programs. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Chapman University and an MBA from The Questrom School of Business at Boston University.
Speaker: Jimm Johnson
Sr Manager Data Governance, HireRight

Jimm Johnson is the Data Governance Manager at HireRight (the leading global background screening solution provider), where he is helping build their enterprise data governance program. Prior to that, he was at Scripps Health (one of the largest integrated health systems in San Diego), launching their data governance program in tandem with the company's electronic health record (EHR) and revenue cycle platform implementation and to support their enterprise analytics strategy and elevate data literacy capabilities. Jimm has over 25 years of DG, EDW/BI, analytics, and IT experience across the banking, health care, health insurance, pharmaceutical, and restaurant industries.
Speaker: Nate Lee
Director, Master Data Management and Governance, K Hovnanian

As an experienced Data Governance Leader, Nate developed a pragmatic, cross-functional, and business-aligned approach to scaled Data Governance. Nate has over 20 years of experience in digital advertising, automation, and business transformation programs. Nate has held roles in multiple disciplines, including data management, technical/business strategy, finance architecture, and transformational leadership.
Nate received an MBA from CSU Fullerton and B.Sci Information Systems from CSU Long Beach. He's a certified CDMP, PMP, PMP-ACP, SSBB, CSP-SM, CSP-CSPO, and Scrum Foundations Educator.
