
Rebooting Data Governance - Pragmatic and Practical Experience
Data Governance is a notoriously difficult initiative to get right in a single pass. Oftentimes, Data Governance leaders inherit the smoldering remains of a previous attempt at Data Governance and attempt to rebuild the initiative from the ashes. Common culprits include a lack of adoption or engagement, a lack of clarity on the purpose or value, or a lack of formal champions or sponsors. Often, it's a dynamic combination of all of these shortfalls...and then some!
