In this session, I’ll walk through how I used knowledge graphs to bridge the gap between enterprise policies—like Information Security, Document Management, Data Privacy, and External Data Sharing—and the actual data elements within a reporting data lake. By linking specific fields to their governing policies, data owners, and usage contexts, we created a unified, visual representation of data governance. This approach not only clarified policy applicability but also revealed the centrality of key data assets and their compliance posture. The implementation was surprisingly lightweight, requiring only a few targeted steps to deliver a powerful, scalable solution. If you're looking for a practical way to make policy enforcement more transparent and actionable, this talk is for you.
